The history of Bodegas Oliver is almost centennial. In the 1930s, Mr. Antoni Oliver Orell founded this wine company in Binissalem. He started this path with the production and sale of bulk wine on a very small scale, making products in a country located behind his home.
In 1950, his son, Antoni Oliver and his wife, Antònia Vallès, took over the business and gradually spread it all over the island. They incorporated the manufacture of bottled wine, the sale to the different towns of the Raiguer and, later, the commercialization in the rest of Mallorca. An important event for the evolution and growth of Bodegas Oliver was the purchase, in 1978, of the Celler de Ca'ls Agustins, a cellar founded in 1700 by the brotherhood of the Augustinian Brothers.
Currently, the winery is in the hands of the third generation. At this time they are in Toni and Pedro Oliver Vallès who run the company for about a decade. In recent years Oliver Wineries have been constantly evolving, both productively and at the level of infrastructure, but never leaving out the essence of their beginnings or the passion for wine shown generation after generation.
